The Auckland Puppy training classes, also known as puppy school are all run by Doggy Dan.
The Group Puppy Classes are held on Sunday mornings at Urban Dogs on the North Shore of Auckland in their brand new doggy day care facility.
NEW 4 WEEK PUPPY CLASSES – Starting Sunday 13th March 2016
The dates of the three following classes shall be 20th March, 3rd and 10th April. NOTE there shall be no class on 27th March as it is Easter long weekend.

Puppy school / Puppy Class – Puppies up to 6 months of age (most are around 12 weeks) runs from 9am – 9.50am
Puppies of all size, breed and temperament are welcome and looked after in the class and their individual needs taken care of.
All puppies attending puppy school must have started their vaccination program before attending. Vaccination papers must be brought on the day.

Since the puppies attending all have different needs I keep classes flexible so that we can cater for exactly what people need rather than an agenda that is set in stone.
The 50 minute puppy training classes comprise of a mix of the following areas of importance
Puppy Obedience training – All the basic commands covered off (again if individuals are already familiar with certain commands then we can take it to a higher level)
Puppy problem solving – providing solutions to all those puppy issues, such as crying at night, toileting, mouthing, jumping and biting
Leadership – understanding how you can help prevent more serious behavioural issues later on by how you treat your puppy now.
Puppy Socialization
BONUS – I shall bring my own three dogs along Peanut, Inca and Moses who will observe and then participate when appropriate with the class. They shall demonstrate how calm energy can really assist in maintaining a calm puppy and they will also helps some of the puppies learn that larger dogs can also be very friendly – Watch the video below to see just how well behaved they are
