Client experience with barking at the fence
Hi Dan,
It was good to talk to you this week and I’m glad I had so much good news for you. This is the written feedback about how things are going for us since your visit here 2 weekends ago.
Within 24 hours of your visit there was a huge difference in our home. I hadn’t realized how stressed they were, but during your visit both the dogs became much more relaxed and so did we.
In particular the following changes have been remarkable:
Greeting visitors: Visitors can now arrive and the dogs come out to see who is there but no longer leap up and demand attention and create a circus at the door. The most pleasing change has been in Kip who had been uncertain and sometimes aggressive towards teenage males. He now greets them the same way he greets anyone else. My boys and their friends are much relieved!
Generally at home: Both dogs, Kip and Rommel are less attention seeking and less frequently follow us when we move around the house or nudge us for attention when we are working or relaxing.
Defending the territory by barking at the boundary fence, mainly at night, poor neighbours! : We followed your instructions and this behaviour ceased quickly and easily.
Many other improvements have resulted from applying your dog training techniques. As a result our time with the dogs is even more enjoyable – dog walking, playing and relaxing
I was amazed how effective such a gentle approach could be. I am so glad we were able to achieve the necessary discipline without the use of any harsh or painful methods or devices advocated by others as this has always been unacceptable to us.
We are delighted with the transformation you have helped us achieve and have passed your details to a number of other dog owners already. Thank you so much. I am happy to be a referee for anyone who may be enquiring about your services as a dog trainer.
Cheers,
Georgina
